COMPACTION, A REVIEW
The report summarises studies by the Australian Road Research Board, over a 10 year period, into the performance of compaction plant with particular reference to the types of road pavement and subgrade materials found in the Australian environment. The report is in two parts: the first consists of the previously issued bulletin no. 1 and supplement and the second part consists of reviews on the compaction of three classes of material. These were a number of clayey soils, a fine sand and pavement (base and sub-base) material. (A) /TRRL/
