The behaviour and properties of concrete pavement have developed as forecasted. The evenness has remained on an excellent level. The total IRI-average on the mainroad is 1,05 mm/year based on measurements during the period of five years. On the mainroad the rutting of concrete pavement has occurred mainly on the right traffic lane. According to measurements carried out with Mapvision (road measuring system) by the Technical Research Centre of Finland rutting on the right traffic lane is approximately 6,3 mm when initial rutting has been approximately 1,9 mm. So the rutting of concrete pavement caused by studded winter tyres after four winters is approximately 4,4 mm. The rutting is in good relation to traffic volumes on different parts of the mainroad.
