GOVERNMENTAL POLICIES AND URBAN BUS TRANSPORT EVOLUTION IN BRAZIL
The urban bus transport system differs in each country due to the national government performance and local conditions. This paper describes the national government policy in the urban bus transport market and the bus companies concentration process in Brazil. The Brazilian system reveals that transport companies are well structured, and also shows the national government intervention in service regulation. (A) The French title of the paper is: "La politique gouvernementale et l'evolution du transport urbain par bus au Bresil". For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD E201484.
