TELECOMMUTING CENTERS IN CALIFORNIA : 1991-1997

This report documents the development and operations of telecommuting centers, also known as telecenters, in California from 1991 through 1997. The introduction contains terms and definition, and general information on telecenters, including facilities and equipment marketing, charges and usages rates. Detailed summaries on the status of operating, planned and closed telecenters is then given. Appendices cover information such as charges, usage rates, equipment marketing tactics, occupancy rates, and contact information.
