YOSEMITE AREA TRAVELER INFORMATION SYSTEM : CHANGEABLE MESSAGE SIGN AND HIGHWAY ADVISORY RADIO : JULY 1998 FIELD TEST REPORT
This report presents the results of a field test of the Yosemite Area Traveler Information (YATI) system's variable message signs (VMS) and highway advisory radio (HAR) stations that are located along each route leading to Yosemite National Park. The field test examined the variables that affect travelers' opportunities to effectively use the VMS and HAR. It also examined methods of increasing travelers' use of these YATI components.
