TELETRAFFIC CHARACTERISTICS IN CELLULAR SYSTEMS AND TRAFFIC FLOW IN ROAD SYSTEMS
In this paper, the authors present an approximate theoretical method for analyzing communication traffic characteristics of a cellular mobile communication system on a two dimensional plane from calls that are generated by from vehicles moving along a road network. The authors analyze the teletraffic characteristics of the cellular system by using parameters that indicate the vehicle flow characteristics on the road network.
