OUTLOOK OF 1.55 MU M LASER RADARS FOR COLLISION AVOIDANCE IN AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATIONS
In this paper, the authors describe the development of new laser radars (ladars) that perform better in good visibility conditions as well as in foggy conditions. Two prototypes that use random modulation and pulsed modulation are described.
