MANAGEMENT MEASURES FOR EFFICIENT BUS TRANSPORT OPERATION IN AN URBAN AREA

This paper presents the results of a management analysis of public transit operations in India with the use of two computer models UBTRA and OBSPG. Parameters considered for evaluation of the management measures include: bus overall speed, passenger waiting time, running index, passenger waiting index and efficiency index.
