MOTIV PTA SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
Within the German Research Program MoTiV a system for Personal Travel Assistance (PTA) is developed which provides a user with several suitable Travel-Offers depending on personal preferences and which guides the user safely to his travel-destination. The PTA-System will be based on electronic agent concepts which contact service providers via a communication platform. The main approaches and technologies used for developing the PTA-System are presented in the paper. Furthermore the underlying System architecture is discussed from different points of view (functional architecture, information architecture, physical architecture, and communication architecture). For the covering abstract see IRRD E102946.
