DEVELOPING ROAD TRAFFIC NETWORK FOR THE PURPOSE OF GATHERING, ANALYZING, AND DISTRIBUTING TRAFFIC INFORMATION USING GIS AND RDBMS
This paper suggests how to create road traffic network that is needed in collecting, analyzing and distributing of traffic data (traffic condition, incident, etc.). The key of this paper is that road network is created by GIS as well as RDBMS technology. In addition, the main concept suggested in this paper starts with how we can match the link in system and the driver's road section to each other. Solving this problem with GIS technology, we face to re-create a new layers. However, using RDBMS, we can create the higher lever of road network as we want without additional layer.
