DEVELOPMENT OF TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES IN A FREEWAY CORRIDOR

This report describes a project designed to implement a computerized traffic monitoring system called the Mobilizer in the Portland area. Mobilizer provides a video image tracker to caputer information regarding ravel speed, volume and traffic density. It is useful in traffic analysis, directing and incident management.
