PROCEEDINGS OF THE FIFTEENTH MUSKEG RESEARCH CONFERENCE

This publication is one of a series produced by the Associate Committee on Geotechnical Research of the National Research Council. It deals with muskeg research in the northern part of Canada and presents four papers dealing with development and construction in permafrost and muskeg with emphasis on environmental factors in the Mackenzie Valley and James Bay Area. The four papers presented dealt with Engineering in the North, Protection of the Muskeg Environment, Problems in Assessing the Environmental Impact of Industrial Development in Muskeg Regions and muskeg Classification. /RTAC/
