A NEW CONCEPT FOR MOVING HEAVY LOADS
Due to widespread use of containers, a device for moving containers has been produced for use on cargo liners. This MacGregor device will enable containers to be placed into wings and tween decks of about nine feet high. The device, known as Magromover, is capable of moving 20 tons in a restricted height, with a single operator, and capable of moving over an unprepared and even sloping surface with a wide weight distribution over the ground. Approximately 10 containers can be loaded or discharged every hour per Magromover.
