DYNAMIC ROUTE GUIDANCE, CONGESTION AND DISOBEDIENCE
This paper presents an optimal guidance algorithm based on a model which takes into account the driver's compliance to route advice. The first part of the paper describes how the traffic model is improved in order to take into account the driver's assignment and compliance. The second section is devoted to the optimization problem and algorithms. The third section shows some numerical experiments and comparisons between the the gradient calculated numerically and with a backward run.
