BRAKE-BY-WIRE : SOLUTIONS, ADVANTAGES AND THE NEED FOR STANDARDIZATION
This paper discusses the need, status and activities in the standardization of brake-by-wire systems. It first discusses the reasons for brake-by-wire systems and then presents a classification for brake-by- wire systems. This is followed by a discussion of the need for standardization, the current status, and a proposal for further standardization activities.
