EXPERIENCE WITH IMPRESSED CURRENT PROTECTION IN SHIPS OF THE ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY
As these ships were not designed to have the system, the siting of the control unit and power pack presents a space problem. It was also considered desirable to incorporate the multiple anode control system to give a more even potential dispersion. A suitable laboratory unit has been designed and tested, this having been put out to a local electronic manufacturer to develop and produce an engineered version.
