THE NORTH PICKERING PROJECT: TRANSIT STUDIES

This report documents the examination of the role for public transit services with in the North Pickering Project. A large part of the analysis has focused on the development of a transit system to serve 75,000 population. Guidelines are given for the initial implementation and staging of transit servcies in the Community. The analysis incorporates specific assumptions related to the type and location of the regional transit system.
