COMPARISONS OF HEAD TRAUMA FATALITIES OF MOTORCYCLE VICTIMS IN LONDON, ENGLAND AND DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA
The data indicate that (1) the single vehicle head injury fatalities of helmeted individuals appear to be one of the population sub-groups that contribute to the higher incidence of helmeted head injury fatalities in London; and (2) that the multi-vehicle crash is the biggest killer system, both in London and in Dade County, and this system usually occurs at intersections. In London, however, not all multi-vehicle crashes occur at intersections as they appear to do in Dade county. /TRRL/
