DOUBLE DUTCH IN PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
The characteristics of the pedestrian are described. Attention is given to the requisite quality and safety requirements. The conclusion is that the pedestrian is strongly neglected. There is much talk about pedestrians but fundamentally little is done. Based on the principles of the quality and safety requirements for pedestrians, possible solutions are given. The paper is presented in an abridged version. /TRRL/
