ENERGY REQUIREMENT FOR ELECTRIC ROAD VEHICLE PROPULSION
The energy balance is established on the basis of a flow diagram for the energy in an electrically-propelled road vehicle. In addition to energy restoration, the accelerated masses, the efficiencies of the energy source and the transmission means and the possible secondary points of energy consumption are taken into account. The quantitative energy requirements are given. It is shown that the requirements of a simple vehicle for town traffic can be met within the present state of technical development. (Author)
