The International Union of Testing and Research Laboratories for Materials and Structures sponsored a symposium on "Bitumens and Bituminous Materials" in order to facilitate the development of the most suitable test methods for acquiring a better knowledge of the properties of bituminous materials. The papers presented at the symposium are presented in this book, divided into the four following sections: (1) Adhesion/Cohesion; (2) Rheology; (3) Specification and standardization of tests; and (4) Composite materials.
