DIVERSION OF INTERCITY TRAFFIC AT A SINGLE POINT. SOFTWARE SPECIFICATIONS
The Single Point Diversion System was designed for a site in Maryland. The design of the system is covered in "Final Design Report, Diversion of Intercity Traffic at a Single Point," November 1973, Revised September 1974. The complete software package specification for the system consists of three basic parts: manufacturer supplied software, applications software and the Fortran-programmed automatic control strategy. This report gives the specifications of each routine in the applications software which provides the logic for all the computational requirements of the Single Point Diversion System. The automatic control strategy is described in "Control Strategy Specification, Diversion of Intercity Traffic at a Single Point," February 1974. /FHWA/
