EVALUATION OF AIR QUALITY IN THE VICINITY OF THE INTERSECTION OF WISCONSIN AND WESTERN AVENUES, N.W
A measurement and analysis program was conducted to evaluate the spatial and temporal variation of carbon monoxide levels in the vicinity of a traffic intersection in Washington, D.C. The monitoring program provided data which permitted the evaluation of air quality levels at both the 5 and 30 foot heights. The concentrations in the vicinity of the intersection were significantly influenced by local meteorological conditions and the volume of traffic.
