LABORATORY FORMULATION FOR TRANSMISSION AND REFLECTION AT PERMEABLE BREAKWATERS OF ARTIFICIAL BLOCKS
Dimensionless empirical formulas of wave transmission through and reflection from permeable breakwaters are presented. Data are collected from laboratory tests by the author and also from those reported by several investigators. Results obtained in this study give a near good approximation under a practical condition that the ratio of wave length to depth is smaller than 0.25.
