SAMPLING AND TESTING AGGREGATES - METRIC UNITS

The methods described in this standard are applicable to aggregates used in concrete and in road making, or for any other purposes. The standard includes sampling methods and procedures, methods for determination of density, particle size analysis, tests for determination of misshapen particles and tests for crushing and abrasion resistance. It also includes tests to determine the soundness of an aggregate and the proportions of deleterious materials present. /TRRL/
