A NEW SERIES OF BRUSHLESS SYNCHRONOUS ALTERNATORS FOR SHIPS

The construction and principle of operation of the brushless self-excited alternators with increased moment of inertia are discussed. Also advantages of the new solution (reduction in dimensions and weight) and the technical characteristics of the alternators are highlighted.
