PORT IMPROVEMENT DESIGN CRITERIA FOR TEXAS COAST
Navigation facilities must be designed for good control and safe maneuvering of ships. Channel dimensions for safe navigation were calculated on the basis of existing knowledge, and are presented for vessels of 100,000, 150,000, and 250,000 deadweight tons.
