CASE OF INDUCTIVE CO-ORDINATION
The co-ordination of the expansion of both power and communication networks, to avoid the problem of excessive longitudinally induced voltage on communication and signal circuits, is a matter of increasing importance. This paper deals with the design and installation of railway signal and communication cables in a case where elaborate shielding from the influence of a proposed new adjacent power system was required. A discussion of the paper is appended.
