A SIMPLE PEEL TECHNIQUE FOR SILTS AND CLAYS
A simple peel technique is described for fine silts and clays. The method is equally successful in the laboratory and under even the most difficult of field conditions. The peels are easily portable since they can be rolled up and stored in small containers, provide good color representations, are durable, do not destroy the section, and require very little equipment and even less section preparation. /Author/
