BULK CRANES -- A SAFE CHOICE

Transporter bridges remain a safe choice for terminal operators investing in new equipment for handling heavy bulk cargoes. It remains doubtful whether designs for new machine-types would offer multi-commodity handling. At the same time crane manufacturers have made advances towards more rapid, dust-free unloading.
