BUCKET WHEEL HYDRAULIC DREDGE

The purpose of this paper is to disclose the latest developments of the dredging industry, which have made available an effective new tool for mining. The author shows that the properly equipped and designed bucket wheel hydraulic dredge compares favorably with the traditional bucket line dredge in all operating parameters, such as cutting force, handling of underground logs and roots, disintegration of compact materials, control of capacity, digging depth, and cleanup of bottom.
