USING A COMPUTER TO CALCULATE THE FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTICS AND OPTIMAL PARAMETERS OF HYDRAULIC LINES FOR HYDRAULIC DRIVES
When trying to optimize complex hydraulic lines there may be a large number of variable paramters. When calculating the frequency characteristics (forced vibrations), without considering instability in the flow of the fluid, this article consequently uses linearized equations for hydraulic lines and equipment to reduce the time required for computer calculations to acceptable proportions. The optimal parameters of the lines thus obtained by a method of random search depend on a comparison of the results of calculations for some of the possible variants. The parameters of the optimal variant obtained by this type of calculation can be made more accurate by a longer and more complicated computer calculation using non-linear equations which take into account instability of the fluid flow.
