NAVIGATION IN THE GULF OF SUEZ
The geography of the Gulf of Suez is briefly described, and traffic density and accident probability are discussed. Reference is made to the newly-introduced traffic scheme approved by IMCO for the Gulf of Suez and two defects of this scheme are pointed out. Following a brief section on the determination of lane-width, an improved integrated traffic scheme, which overcomes the defects of the IMCO scheme is described.
