THE GENERATION OF ELECTRIC POWER USING MARGINAL OFFSHORE NATURAL GAS FIELDS
A study shows the results of calculations to compare electric power generating offshore and onshore for countries bordering the North Sea. Several arrangements of fossil-fired power stations are investigated including steam- or gas turbine or combined gas/turbine plants. Cost aspects of the operating periods per location are discussed.
