SUBTITLE: THE INCREASE IN MAINTENANCE EXPENSES WAS PRIMARILY DUE TO HIGHER PRODUCT AND SERVICE PRICING. ALSO CONTRIBUTING TO THIS INCREASE WAS THE SHIFT BY OEMS TO LOWER-PROFILE TIRES AND FOUR-WHEEL DISC BRAKES IN A GREATER NUMBER OF MODELS.
