SOVIET SEA POWER. THE CONVERT SUPPORT FLEET

It is shown that the dynamic and continuing growth of Soviet seapower poses an increasing threat to the west. Moscow's progress towards dominating vital sea routes and the latent economic wealth of the oceans is a deliberate act of policy: the USSR means to challenge western command of the seas, if necessary by threat of war.
