POZ-O-BLEND -- THE SECOND GENERATION OF POZ-O-PAC
The paper reports on a new concept that has grown out of a commercial application of lime-fly ash-aggregate mixtures in road bases. Poz-O-Blend cement is a quality controlled mixture of all ingredients exclusive of the aggregate. It is produced in a centrally located plant usually on or adjacent to the power plant. Results to date show that the product has improved structural properties, durability, and quality control, and is economically competitive with the leading base course materials.
