ACCURACY OF PHOTOMETRY OF RETROREFLECTORS AND RETROREFLECTIVE MATERIALS
The paper examines the influence of source, receiver and sample dimensions on the accuracy of measurement of the coefficient of luminous intensity of retroreflectors and retroreflective materials. Expressions are developed from which requirements for an acceptable accuracy can be derived. The error caused by a wrong adjustment of the observation angle is also discussed. /Author/TRRL/
