SOIL MOISTURE CONTENT AS RELATED TO ATTERBERG LIMITS AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY
Empirical equations relating liquid limits, relative humidity and soil moisture contents are derived. Thus one can, knowing the average relative humidity of an area, estimate the probable equilibrium moisture content of the soil of the area knowing the atterberg limits for the soil type. Data are also given for varying relative humidites, and soils with various atterberg limits. /Author/TRRL/
