GOODS VEHICLE ACTIVITY IN GREATER LONDON
As part of the GLTS studies of 1971/72 goods vehicle traffic was covered by two surveys, one collecting vehicle logs for vehicles based in London and the other based on questionnaires from externally based vehicles that crossed the cordon into London. Overall the sample provides 24 hour travel data on about 3% of all goods vehicles operating in greater London. This memorandum summarises the major characteristics of goods vehicle activity indicated by the survey. /TRRL/
