EVALUATION PROCEDURES FOR RURAL ROAD AND STRUCTURE PROJECTS
This paper describes the procedures used by the commonwealth bureau of roads to assist in determining the warranted level of expenditure on improvements to arterial roads in inner urban areas. The results assisted in the preparation of the bureau's 'report on roads in Australia 1975' which recommended commonwealth government assistance to the states for roads for the period 1977/78 to 1979/80 including $706M for urban arterial roads. /TRRL/
