INFLUENCE OF BITUMEN AND FILLER QUANTITY VARIATION ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ASPHALTIC CONCRETE FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF PRODUCTION ECONOMY

Bitumen and filler are the most expensive components of the asphalt mixture. The correct choice of the components has an influence on the mechanical characteristics and the economic aspects of the asphalt mixtures. The goal of this work is to find out the optimal combination of the bitumen and filler in the asphalt mixture which would give the required mechanical characteristics and production by examining the influence of the different components in the mixture. /TRRL/
