FUEL OIL QUALITY AND ITS EFFECT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF DIESEL ENGINES, GAS TURBINES AND BOILER FURNACES
Survey of world wide bunker fuel oils shows that some products are exceeding maximum limits for unwanted contents and properties. Treatment of fuels to reduce harmful effects of bad quality, problem of compatibility and blending. Oil ash corrosion in detail, use of additives. Low sulphur problem is touched.
