SLOTTED DRAINS CUT STREET PONDING
An economical solution for fast, efficient removal of the storm water is reported. The open slots run the entire length of the top of the pipe. The openings are in a steel component welded to the pipe and are about 1-3/4 in. wide. These slots are the only part of the pipe visible at the surface after installation. Stormwater can flow into the street opening from both sides and fall into the carrier pipe.
