JOINTS--BEHAVIOUR OF PRODUCTS FOR METAL JOINTS LESS THAN 5 MM THICK

ISSLEDOVANIE RABOTY GERMETIKOV V USKIKH SHVAKH.

This article describes the results of tests on six products for joint sealing, which were manufactured in the USSR. Some of the products are hardening, some non-hardening. A study was made of their adhesion to steel and aluminium, their mechanical strength, deformability, compressibility and water absorption as a function of the temperature and climatic conditions. /TRRL/
