MOTION OF A SHIP IN INCOMING WAVES NEAR AN INFINITE WALL
Using matching asymptotic expansions, the resonance frequency of oscillation of a ship in incoming waves near an infinite wall is found to be KD = 1 when the distance between the ship and the wall is small with a respect to the draft of the ship.
