OPTIMUM STATION SPACING ON A RAILROAD LINE
INTERSTATION OPTIMALE SUR UNE LIGNE DE CHEMIN DE FER
The author makes a theoretical study of a model for building a railroad line or a metropolitan railroad in a given area taking the minimization of the passenger's journey time as the optimization criterion. Such a model enables the repercussion of the various solutions considered to be tested in relation to the cost of infrastructure, rolling stock and operations.
