TECHNOLOGICAL STUDY OF THE BEHAVIOUR OF REINFORCEMENT IN BLAST-FURNACE-SLAG-CEMENT CONCRETE
ETUDE TECHNOLOGIQUE DU COMPORTEMENT D'ARMATURES ENROBEES DANS UN BETON DE CLK.
This article presents the results of a technical study of the behaviour of reinforcement embedded in concrete. It studies the behaviour of reinforcement embedded in mortar made with blast-furnace slag cement derived from eight different types of slag. In a preliminary stage, the study included the design of the experiment, the provision of the equipment, grinding of the cement and preparation of the samples, exposure and examination of the reinforcement, and observation of the degree of carbonation after curing the mortars under humid conditions for periods of 3, 12 and 18 months. /TRRL/
