DEFINITION OF A EUROPEAN HIGH SPEED SURFACE TRANSPORT NETWORK
DEFINITION D'UN RESEAU EUROPEEN DE TRANSPORTS TERRESTRES A GRANDE VITESSE
Details of a high speed surface transport network that could be adopted for introduction in Europe looking forward to 1990. Starting from a maximum network made up of a series of routes (based on existing master plans) which provide links between various European towns with more than 300,000 inhabitants, routes are then rejected which do not meet the criterion of immediate profitability. The countries involved are Great Britain, France, Belgium and W. Germany.
