THE CYCLIC NATURE OF LOADS CONSIDERING A CONCRETE ROAD PAVEMENT FOLLOW THE FATIGUE BEHAVIOUR ANALYSIS OF MATERIALS. THE ANALYSIS MUST TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE STRENGTH CHARACTERISTICS OF CONCRETE AND REINFORCEMENT STEEL BARS, THE MAXIMUM STRESS, THE RATIO BETWEEN MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM STRESSES AND, SOMETIMES, THE LOAD FREQUENCY. IN THE PRESENT PAPER, THE AUTHORS SUGGEST METHODOLOGY FOR CONCRETE PAVEMENT DESIGN BASED ON RECENT RESULTS OF RESEARCH.
